i have always used jiffy pots because once your plant is ready to plant you just plant the hole thing i always use them there is nothing in them to hurt the graden it will help if anything go to your local walmart and read all the jiffy pots and mixes you will be surprised i hope i have helped you
none really because a regular plant usally needs 4 feet to 10 of space.
I have used wooden "beer barrels" and even the large plastic planters that trees from the nursery come in for my tomatoes. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is using a container that was previously used for storing toxic chemicals or cleaning products for planting.
Do you mean to get them started? Cow pots. Yep there made of exactly what it sounds like, cow poop. If you can find them. I saw them on dirtiest jobs with Mike Roe. Theres a lot of other things like peat pots and paper egg cartons too.
