Whats the Best BLUE Fast Growing/blooming Flowers for Pots?
I was thinking about making small flower pots for a party as party favors.
1>I need the flowers to be fairly small that fit in a pot
2>grow & bloom fast because the party is in about a month
3>blue in color
4>cheap
5>& seeds that are pretty easy to find & buy
what flower do you think fits all of that?

i don’t think you’ll get flowers in a month from sowing the seed. you may be better off buying a larger clump of a small blue flowering plant and splitting it up into tiny clumps for your pots,
some pretty blue flowering plants are;
campanulas
forget-me-nots
blue pansies(these are usually bought in trays of 6 or so individual plants so you could use one per pot)
violas
muscari(the little grape hyacinth)

Nigella (lovein a mist) is very beautiful, dont think it will flower within a month, but once you have them, they self seed and have very beautiful silvery paper pods after they have flowered. The blue cornflower is also very beautiful (centaurea cyanus). Dont think there is any seed that will flower within one month, but like a previous person said, you could get ready grown blue pansys. If you ring all your local garden centres, some will do single colours of pansys, Some will only do mixed colours. Depending on where you live in the world, sometimes in very mild climates, i.e. south east England, pansies will survive the winter and flower again the next year, they also self seed very well.
