What Cold Weather Vegetables Will Grow in Pots?
I have a small deck (9×12) and am growing tomatoes and peppers. The season is almost over but I really enjoyed the experience. What vegetables can I plant this fall? I would also like to plant something in addition to tomatoes and peppers next spring. Any ideas? Thanks!

I agree! I’ve been reading a lot on indoor gardening. I found out we can grow Alpine strawberries indoors on a sunny windowsill as well as cherry tomatoes, lettuce, and scallions. Under a grow lamp most veggies will grow as long as it stays warm enough and they don’t need bees to pollinate. Although it can be done by hand on some plants with a small paint brush and a pollinator powder. I have a spot inside where I’m going to grow all my veggies during the winter blues with grow lights.
Try lettuce, Swiss chard, cilantro this fall. Try lemon cucumbers, but they take a lot of room, as do squashes. How about basil, green onions, carrots, eggplant? Have fun!
