Need to keep my two dogs out of the organic 16′x16′ garden just built. For the winter I plan to cover it in a plastic tarp. Wondering if doing so might cause some of the plastic to "leach" into the soil. I live in the Colorado mountains and for much of the winter I expect snow to be covering the tarp, but at other times not. Appreciate any advice as I’d like to avoid ruining or harming the soil.
