I am trying to decide whether to purchase a weed whacker or an actual "edger" for trimming lawn. In the past, I have always used an edger–however, my new lawn has a side that adjacent to a dirt planter. It seems like a weed whacker is the only way to get to it—but does it produce a straight enough line? Do you have to have a very steady hand?
