Where is the pic of Bill Berry? He is just as much a part of R.E.M. as the other three.
So bad ass! I love the Stipe snarl, it is so wicked. And they never do too much. From a guitarists perspective this is what I strive for.
I remember seeing them at the 9:30 club pre Police tour..when Stipe still had long hair…one of the first bands I sung along with phonetically…an amazing band…and yes I have done gardening at night

this is very raw rem..you can tell..very pure…not a commercial perfect recording like say…Man on the moon or losing my religion..but they are magical no matter what.
