How Do I Get Rid of All Those Miniature Flowers Growing on My Lawn?
My lawn looks more like a garden than a grass lawn. Are they to be treated as weeds and get a weed killer? I am afraid to further damage it. I love flowers but not on my lawn. thanks

Get a weed killer that’s made specifically for use on established lawns. This will kill any broad-leaf weeds (dandelions, chickweed, etc.), but not harm the grass. You can also use a granulated weed-and-feed product (Scotts makes a good one) that you sprinkle onto the lawn and water in. These don’t work as quickly as sprays and seem to just stop the growth of the weeds for a couple of weeks before they start to die off. This is actually safer to use than the sprays, which can somewhat damage the lawn itself if it’s applied too heavily.
Most of them die as soon as hot weather arrives. You could then use a weed control spray an those that do not die.
you mean dandalions yes there weed check you local garden center they sell stuff to kill them
Hello your ? is confusing in that I’m not sure if u have a weed problem and/or your lawn is not healthy because a healthy lawn combats weed germination. Professionally speaking based on where you live,I would apply a preventive weed killer in the early spring ,a secondary application in the late spring, and small manual applications as necessary. Note# when using weed killer always be mindful of weather temperatures and conditions and the rules of product application. Hope the advise helps! Best Regards and good luck!
If they are yellow daisy like flowers they are probably dandelions. They are perennials but show up the most in late winter. You have two choices, either ignore them and in a few weeks the grass will hide them till next year or you can treat them with a weed and feed type product that controls the weeds while it feeds the lawn. This type of product is applied with a fertilizer spreader rand is sold in all the nurseries
