You don’t need to change the soil, buy some miracle grow and mix it as directed and water the plants with that. Watering with any fertilizer is best done on soil that is already moist not dry.
take a little shovel then gently cut a circle around the plant then lift :]
p.s hopes this helps you doll
I wou’dn’t even worry about changing the flowers….i only use miracle grow on my sprouts to help them grow to mature size or help them seed….if you think its a good idea to change soil it wouldn’t hurt….depending on the flowers is how to take them out wilthout damage….if they are deep rooted flowers, go down the stem into the surface of the dirt and pull little at a time…if that doesn’t work, do it like a shallow rooted plant… put both hands (use your hands so you can feel for root unless its a chemical filled miracle grow then use a small shovel) into the dirt wide enough that you won’t damage alot of root…alittle root damage won’t matter….once you remove it…..keep some dirt on the roots to prevent shock of the plant and set it into a pot while changing dirt….if the plant dies after transplanting wait at least 3 months for it to come back (unless its an annual) and GOOD LUCK! = p

P.s. for annual flowers save the seeds and plant them as soon as you remove them…i did it with mariegolds and planted them in the same pot every year so they are like having perrinials…..just email me if you have any problems!
