I’m planning a garden with limited space and sunlight in Marin. What fruits and vegetables will be sucessful and yield good crops? Flower suggestions are welcome too. Thanks!

There are so many that you can grow and really too many to list here without more information about the size of your garden, location of your garden and ultimately what you want to do with your garden. I think your best bet is to narrow down what plants you want in what area and visit a good nursery like Green Jeans or Sunnyside. When you know how big you want your veggie garden (and how much you want to harvest) and how big you want your flower garden, you can see how much space you have left for fruit trees. You may consider getting espaliered fruit trees to save on space too.
When you plan your garden, keep in mind that you can grow summer veggies and winter veggies so you can work it year round. With your flower bed, you can mix annuals, perennials and shrubs to create the effect you want. Think also of what color range you want your plants to be so it looks harmonious when you can done.
I’m just north of you and there really is a lot we can grow. Sorry I can’t give you very specifics but I’d really need to know a lot more about what you want.
Best of luck!!!
