Forest Gardening With Robert Hart
Forest Gardening with Robert Hart A forest garden is a tiny imitation of a natural forest. Once established it needs nimimal maintenance and can provide fruit, nuts, root and perennial vegetables and herbs. The principles and practice of forest gardening are described by pioneer Robert Hart who created a small forest garden on his farm on Wenlock Edge, which has been a model and inspiration for many designers and horticulturalists. See www.greenbooks.co.uk for his book.

thanks for sharing
I can’t wait for next month when I start my own food forest in Oregon.
Thanks for posting this inspiration.
I had the pleasure of visiting Roberts amazing garden some time ago. He was the ,main inspiration in my life after seeing a video he made a long time ago showing that gardening could be a pleasure and not a chore with plants looking after themselves with very little work. Cuttings he generously gave us are now mature trees.
