FYI… if you live in Zone 10 like me, where you don’t really get frost, you need to be careful about planting your tomatoes when it’s too hot. I’ve heard that the plants do not fruit as well once the temperature is above a sustained 85ish degrees.
actually I just threw a seeds on my back garden and it’s now growing
Nice video, but your cages are too short for heirlooms! I use 5′ to 6′ high cages for my heirlooms.
For help growing the best tomatoes I suggest-
.yahoo groups TomatoMania

That guy looks like a murderer.

Nice video but to start the seeds inside u don’t need to put them under light u can just set them in a table near a window or something they really don’t need light.
Nice video Dave. Grow Humongeous Tomatoes after you check out my videos.
Hi Dave… it does not suprise me that you are a Gardener do you know why?
Because you’re a weed.
Your tomatoes rot if left to touch the ground? What kind of infested poisonous soil do you have??? LOL
But seriously, tomatoes don’t rot if let to touch the ground. I never have that problem.
do u spend a lot of money on electricity with the grow lights?
@bullittkid I use six 40-watt cool-white lamps, two per fixture. That’s 240 watts. I can grow about fifteen robust seedlings to approximately 6 inches. I give the seedlings about 14 hours of light per day and they’re ready in four or five weeks.
At 10 cents per kWh, I’m spending 2.4 cents per hour and 33.6 cents per day. Over 35 days this will cost $11.76. If I grow 15 plants, that’s 78 cents per plant.
……LMAO………
Thanks I have limited space but I am trying to start my tomatoes in doors this years with a grow lite.
All my tomatoes will be in large containers but thanks to people like you and youtube I am confident of a good harvest.
the since of reward you will get from takeing this from seed to plant is worth any small cost of elc, omg the tomatoes r awlsome..go grow some
The chickens died soon after eating the supermarket tomatoes
Chickens will do the same thing if you drop your sandwich.
I didn’t learn a thing!
