What Kind of Vegetables and Fruits Can You Grow From a Container?

I asked this question once on here but that was at 2am and wanted to ask again and see what kind of answers I got this time.

I currently rent a house in Kentucky (zone 6) and was looking to start growing vegetables and fruits in pots on my patio and was wondering what kind of produce grows good in pots?
